Meet Dr. Herring

Dr. Stephanie Herring is a clinical psychologist with over 30 years of experience working in the mental health and substance abuse field.

After working in acute psychiatric hospitals, for the County of Orange, and in private practice, Dr. Herring worked at the Betty Ford Center in the ‘90’s and was supervised by world-renowned psychiatrist, Dr. Joseph Pursch.

She worked at Cornerstone of Southern California for over 18 years and now practices at Nsight Psychology and Addiction in Newport Beach, CA.

Over the last 8 years, Dr. Herring has been working in the role of “Director of Alternative Sentencing” and has made a name for herself within the judicial system, acquiring the utmost respect, trust and rapport from judicial officers, district attorneys, the probation department and criminal defense attorneys. Her primary goal has been to advocate for clients that have chemical dependency and mental health issues to receive alternative sentencing in the means of treatment in lieu of incarceration.
