Meet Dr. Jaynee Poulson

Dr. Poulson is always engaged in a passionate cause! She is currently the Senior Director of SAFE Choices.

She is working on outreach and prevention in schools with SAFEProject.us.   In 2020 she was honored as Utah State Remarkable Woman of the Year.

Her TEDx on how to give pain a REAL purpose was inspired by the Surgeon General’s call to action asking America for help with an “urgent health crisis” along with her desire to remove stigmas around addiction and mental health.

In the past, Dr. Poulson worked as a licensed mental health counselor and as the Director of the Women’s Program in a treatment center. She was awarded the SAMMI Award in Washington State for Service in Youth Advocacy.  She is currently serving on the state PTA Student Leadership Commission, and the Attorney General’s Opioid Task Force.

Jaynee is married to Jared Poulson and they share 6 children.
