“Protecting the Heart in a Time of Greed”

This isn’t going to be a scientific talk.  It isn’t going to be an academic talk.  There may be discussion of both, but this talk is focused on the heart.  Kansas will be discussing the importance of mentoring and being mentored in the addiction counseling profession.  He will be discussing the importance of involvement in professional organizations to the health of a long term career in the counseling profession. Most importantly, he will be discussing keeping your heart intact during crazy times in this field, both clinical and in business.

 

Kansas Cafferty, LMFT has been in the field of addiction treatment since 1997.  He is the founder of True North Recovery Services in Encinitas, CA and serves as Chair-Elect to the National Certification Commission of Addiction Professionals at NAADAC.
